Starter, Pro, and Bot plans explained
Predite has three subscription tiers. This document covers what's in each plan, how billing works, and policies around upgrades, downgrades, and refunds.
## Plan Overview

### Bot β $99/month
## Free Trial
All new users get **7 days free on Bot plan**, our highest tier. After 7 days, you'll be charged for your selected plan unless you cancel.
No credit card required to start the trial β but you'll need to add one before day 6 to continue.
Cancel anytime during the trial via Settings β Billing β Cancel Subscription. You won't be charged.
## Annual Plans
Save 17% by paying annually:
- β’Starter Annual: $290/year ($24.17/mo effective)
- β’Pro Annual: $590/year ($49.17/mo effective)
- β’Bot Annual: $990/year ($82.50/mo effective)
Annual plans renew automatically. Cancel anytime to disable renewal β your access continues until the end of the paid period.
## How Billing Works
## Upgrades
Upgrade anytime from Settings β Billing β Change Plan.
Example: on $29/month Starter, midway through the month, upgrade to Bot ($99/month). You pay $35 ($70 difference / 2) now. Next month: $99.
## Downgrades
Downgrade anytime from Settings β Billing β Change Plan.
If you have features active on your current plan that aren't in the lower plan (e.g., 5 active bots on Bot, downgrading to Pro), you'll need to deactivate before the change takes effect.
## Cancellation
Cancel anytime from Settings β Billing β Cancel Subscription.

To request refund: email support@predite.io with your account email and reason.
## Plan-Specific FAQs
### Can I switch between Pro and Bot frequently?
Yes, no penalty. Useful for traders who don't need Bot tools every month.
### Do unused features carry over?
No. Each month is independent. Unused signals, scanner presets, etc don't accumulate.
### Can I share my account?
No. Each user must have their own account. Sharing violates terms of service and triggers account suspension.
### What if I exceed my plan's limits?
You'll get a notification when approaching limits. Hard limits are enforced (you can't add a 6th bot on Bot plan, for example). Either upgrade or remove unused items.
### Can I get a custom plan?
For Bot plan users who exceed standard limits, we offer "Bot Plus" with negotiated terms. Contact sales@predite.io if interested.
## Discounts
## Payment Failures
If a payment fails:
- β’We retry up to 3 times over 7 days
- β’You receive email notifications at each retry
- β’After 3 failures, account downgrades to free tier (read-only)
- β’Your data is preserved β just update payment and resume
Most common failure: expired card. Update via Settings β Billing β Payment Method.
## Tax Receipts
Need an invoice for accounting/tax purposes?
Every charge generates an automatic invoice via Stripe. Find them in:
- β’Email (automatic on charge)
- β’Settings β Billing β Invoice History
- β’Stripe customer portal (link in profile)
Customize invoice details (company name, tax ID, address) via Settings β Billing β Tax Information.
